This arrangement made me think of the Italian Countryside. I found this faux mossy stone stand while looking for something else and it totally changed the direction for my Wedding Wednesday. I love the drape of the hanging amaranthis and the line of the red and green parrot tulips. The peach garden roses soften the bold dark burgundy celosia while the silvery baby blue eucalyptus adds a coolness. There is even a hint of rosemary hidden in there. I could so see this on guest tables, an entrance, or even flanking a head table. So MANY uses! Ciao! ~W
Obsession
This week I could not resist using my new obsession, “Lavender Deep Silver”, rose to make a stunning Bridal bouquet. Paired with touches of blues, a barely there hint of pink and deep pink, and a variety of greens. A little fall millet adds a touch of natural brown which grounds all the other colors. I let the flow come together as it may to form a loose, flowing presentation. The ribbon treatment adds a soft touch. Love Love Love this look and hope you do too! ~W
Rustic Farmhouse
A beautiful fall day…Crisp breeze, bright “Carolina Blue Skies”, trees a blaze in orange, yellows and burgundy. A perfect day for an outdoor wedding. These gorgeous, rustic, hand scraped bread bowls are perfect for a natural mix of creamy hydrangeas, mosses, succulents and bleached maple leaves. Imagine these down a farm table. A low design so your guests can appreciate an unobstructed view of all the textures going on in this arrangement. This shows us “fall” doesn’t always have to be orange and yellow! ~W
