So today i heard that pumpkin spice lattes are back!! (yes, a bit early, but who cares!) in honor of this i made a pumpkin spice bridal blog. i used our beautiful free spirit roses (one of our favorites!), plus a few apricot ranunculus, and of course our signature dahlias!!!! we mixed it with magnolia, jasmine vine, and burgundy loropetalum. its been a long, hot summer so let’s think fall and of course, that latte!!! ~W
Pink and gold
Pink and gold…. A monochromatic, ultimately feminine, mix of pink and gold inspired me this week. I let the fabulous Elaeagnus Silverberry with it’s arching branches and metallic shine lead the way in this design. the gold urn was a perfect fit. keeping with shades of soft pinks give it a girly feel but keeps it easy on the eyes. classic. clean. elegant. who doesn’t love pink? ~ W
Naturally Inspired
Nature, the perfect flow of how a flower bends left or bends right. A vine that swirls into a free form circle. A branch that twists and turns to it’s own rhythm. That was my inspiration this week for an unstructured gathering. A statement for chapel doors or a beautiful and different take for an altar or archway. A surprising pop of blue, a soft touch of rust, creamy white to balance it all. Organically put together, as if it grew that way. Softened by flowing fabric ribbons barely moving with any slight breeze….thank you Mother Nature -W
